Thu 7th May - Dawn Chorus (FCS) 6.00am–8.30am.

Meet Dog Falls Car Park. Be the early bird. Join the FCS ranger at dawn….ish, on a walk to hear the Dawn Chorus. See who is about at this special time of day. Waterproofs and good footwear required. FREE but booking essential call 01463 791575.

 

Thu 28th May - Shieling Walk (FCS) 11am–3pm.

Meet Loch Beinn a 'Mheadhain Car Park. Bag some exercise and views of mountains on the historic track along the Allt na Imrich River. Hear how crofters lived and hopefully see some of the present inhabitants. Off-track and strenuous walking. Bring a packed lunch, good boots, waterproofs, midge hood. WEATHER PERMITTING. Before walk, cars sharing will be needed to leave some at other end of walk. FREE but booking essential call 01463 791575.

Hear about the conservation of this National Nature Reserve and what makes Glen Affric so special. Bring good boots and waterproofs, midge hood/repellent. FREE, no need to book just turn up. Sat 4th July - Nature Detectives (FCS) 2.00pm–3.30pm.

Meet Craigmonie Woodland, Drumnadrochit. Follow the trail to work out the clues to solve the mystery of what lives in the woods and how they live there. Family event.
