Can’t see the wood for the trees? Go for a walk to have a closer look at the pinewoods. Hear about the conservation of this National Nature Reserve and what makes Glen Affric so special.

SUNDAY 29th - 11am to 3pm - Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhain Car Park, Glen Affric

Sheiling Walk - Forestry Commission Scotland

Bag some exercise and views of mountains on the historic track along the Allt na Imrich River. Hear how crofters lived and hopefully see some of the present inhabitants. Off-track and strenuous walking. Bring a packed lunch, good boots and waterproofs. Weather permitting. Before walk, cars sharing will be needed to leave some at other end of walk.
