Strathglass Cottage is a charming self catering, detatched 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 4) nestled amongst some of the most stunning scenery the Highlands has to offer. Sited in the heart of Glen Strathfarrar, Glen Cannich and Glen Affric are just a few minutes drive away. The Cottage is situated only twenty miles from Loch Ness, Inverness and Drumnadrochit. Locally the Struy Inn and Cnoc Hotel are within close walking distance.
Strathglass Cottage itself is newly built to a very high standard with solid oak floors throughout, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, built-in cooker with ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. The ample sized lounge has a TV with Freesat, comfortable seating and a CD player.
There are two bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed and the other has twin beds. To the front is a patio area and to the back another patio with a small grassed area. Strathglass Cottage also has full central heating.
The cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat, or as a base for touring the rest of the Highlands and Islands, including the stunning West Coast and Skye which are both within reach.
River Glass, with it's wild salmon and trout, is just a few minutes walk away. Locally there are countless scenic areas for walkers, photographers or cyclists.
Strathglass Cottage has two bedrooms, a double at the rear looking up the hill into the pine forest and a twin looking out across the glen to the River Glass and beyond. Both rooms are light and airy with comfortable beds.
