CAWDOR 'N' ABOOT

A labour of love to write a suite of songs all celebrating stories from around the Cawdor area near Nairn. Many of the stories were collected and collated by Dan Morrison a stalwart of the Cawdor heritage group and accepted historian of the area.

The jewel in the crown of the cataloguing of the graves in Cawdor Kirk was the discovery of the stone for Neil Smith who was discovered to be one of the surgeons who attended Nelson on the flagship “Victory” at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
