Guisachan Lodge is superbly situated amidst staggering majestic views of Upper Strathglass and stands adjacent to the Glen Affric National Nature Reserve. Set within its own acre of enclosed beautiful gardens, from where you can fully enjoy the peace, tranquillity and awe-inspiring views up the glen and to the mountains beyond.

There is garden furniture, deck chairs and a barbeque and with ‘out of the door’ walking, is unsurpassed with an abundance of wildlife and nature. Here, the garden also enjoys many different and rare species of birds.

This picturesque stone and slate Lodge is over a hundred and fifty years old and pre-dates Lord Tweedmouth’s model village of Tomich. It offers an extremely high standard of spacious accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil and rural location.

On the ground floor the traditional sitting room with open Victorian fireplace leads into the sun lounge, ideal for relaxing in and taking full advantage of the large selection of books, wonderful gardens and stunning views.

The dining room continues the traditional theme with a solid beach table and oak sideboard and dresser, which then continues through to a small sofa room and adjoining twin bedroom making perfect accommodation for those wishing to remain on the ground floor.

The extremely well equipped kitchen with pantry also has table and chairs making it a relaxing and sociable room to spend time in. The kitchen leads into the downstairs shower room with w.c. and spacious utility room.

On the first floor is the main double bedroom with magnificent, sumptuous hand carved wooden bed. The second bedroom has zip and link beds which can be made into either another double or a twin bedded room, both bedrooms have double aspect windows making full use of the marvellous views, which are offered from every window of the Lodge. The accommodation is completed with the upstairs bathroom with shower over bath and W.C.

There is a radio, T.V. video and DVD players at the Lodge. The well equipped kitchen has double electric oven with halogen hob, microwave oven, slow cooker, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer. The utility room has another sink, electric washing machine and drying pulley, with the back door opening out into the garden. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome and with the large utility room, wonderful garden, ‘out of the door’ walking, and superb Victorian fireplace to return home to, makes Guisachan Lodge hard to surpass.
