The Hotel was converted in 1970 from four estate cottages, one of which used to be the Factor's Office of the Erchless Estate, ancestral seat of the Clan Chisholm.
Joanne has owned the Hotel for nine years during which time a considerable amount of refurbishment has taken place whilst keeping the character and charm of this small Country House Hotel.
You are assured of a warm welcome at this idyllic, relaxing and comfortable Country House Hotel, which nestles within the countryside of Strathglass, at the foot of Glen Strathfarrar, close to Glen Affric and only 20 miles from the City of Inverness, capital of the Scottish Highlands.
The Hotel's fine, centralised location, nestling in beautiful Strathglass, in the heart of the most stunning scenery and close to the famous, memorable glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar, makes it an ideal and pleasant base for touring the Highlands of Scotland.
The Cnoc Hotel is a perfect retreat for fishers, as it is situated close to the rivers Beauly, Glass & Farrar which can be fished for trout and salmon. It is also well situated for walkers of all types, birdwatchers (osprey, golden eagle and red kite can all be seen locally), golfers and cyclists.
